Function Management Facility Dunkeld Gauteng Position Regional Business Development Manager Introduction
A vacancy exists in Life Health Solutions for a Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM). This position is responsible for sourcing generating and building new business opportunities for the organisation. The RBDM is responsible for identifying sales leads sourcing new opportunities and potential clients across the Life Health Solutions product suite within the market and crafting solutions that talk to the customers requirements and pain points. This includes growing the business through new business cross selling & upselling where possible and managing client retention. Regional Business Development Manager will report into the Regional Business Manager.
Critical Outputs
Drive and implement the Life Health Solutions business & sales strategy across various sectors and provinces within SA & across Africa.
Have a thorough understanding of the market in order to identify opportunities source and secure new business leads through a proactive hunting approach. Ability to generate revenue by identifying customer pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
Understanding the various stages of the sales & solutioning processes.
Procuring new clients through direct contact word-of-mouth and collaboration with various stakeholders internal and externally.
Have a strong understanding of all Life Health Solutions products and services in order to engage with potential clients and identify opportunities.
Strong solutioning skills - Crafting compelling solutions for new and prospective clients that talk to their needs & requirements.
Ability to write proposals and work with pricing team Bid Team and operations team to craft the overall solution.
Consult with other specialists and experts to ensure a holistic solution is crafted that accounts for customer needs and our ability to deliver on these promises.
Demonstrate high levels of resilience and be comfortable working on multiple client proposals/ leads to a highly deadline-driven environment.
Ensure a solid pipeline with viable opportunities is maintained at all times.
Exceed current and benchmarked conversion targets and ratios.
Ensure individual sales/revenue targets are achieved & exceeded in order to contribute to overall growth targets.
Be a result driven individual and exceed budgeted parameters at all levels of benchmarks not limited to sales revenue and cost budgets
Maintain meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained whilst encouraging existing clients to purchase added products & services to grow revenue.
Crafting pitch decks and presentations for face to face & virtual client engagements
Ensure compliance and governance in accordance with the company delegation of authority policies and procedures.
Understanding of Master Agreements Service Level Agreements and client contracting processes and documents
Oversee the planning tracking and completion of all project tasks throughout the customer onboarding & implementation process.
Support Business Managers implementing new contracts & SLAs; including (but not limited to) ensuring signed agreements are in place prior to hand over.
Working closely with other company executives and management teams meeting with potential business partners and maintaining existing client relationships and monitoring market trends to strategise new opportunities.
Proactively identify & manage business risks and involve key individuals as appropriate.
Communicate effectively with both internal and external senior-level management to understand customer needs maximise retention and growth.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Commercial Marketing Quality Product Development Finance and Legal/Compliance etc.
When applicable work with the Bid team on key projects.
Experience with CRM software (i.e. HubSpot) for daily tracking of your sales pipeline.
Consistently leverage the use of the CRM to manage the opportunity progress & performance whilst ensuring all data is up to date for accurate sales reporting and forecasting.
Attend events network and travel when required.
Attend training when required.
Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices.
Requirements
The following qualifications and experience are required:
Relevant qualification at a tertiary level and at least 5 years experience in a health-related environment in Occupational Health Emergency Care Primary Health Care and Wellness RFA industry will be an advantage at a senior management level.
People management/skills and strategic thinking is critical.
Sound knowledge of the healthcare industry.
Drivers license and ability and willingness to travel. Have his/her own car available for his/her use. The vehicle must be reliable and have adequate insurance as travel between provinces is required.
Advanced computer literacy skills with solid Microsoft Office Suite skills. Computer literacy is essential and proficient in Word Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong presentation skills - the ability to speak publicly and interact with a diverse range of individuals and organisations at all levels of business Initiative and a proactive attitude to
driving new business.
