The Opportunity:

Avantor Fluid Handling is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Hillegom.

With Avantor Fluid Handling youll be part of Europes leading distributor of laboratory products. As a Customer Service Representative youll develop within a dynamic industry while strengthening customer relationships and enhancing the service this role you will be the key link between Avantor and its Biopharma customers building and maintaining strong partnerships. Youll work in a skilled collaborative team and engage closely with colleagues across purchasing planning quality and logistics to ensure smooth support for our customers.

What were looking for

  • Education: MBO/ Bachelors degree in Administration or similar field

  • Experience:Several years of applicable experience in a customer service role

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Good organization and time management skills

  • Strong communication skills in English and good level of Dutch is required

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Excel

  • Knowledge of Exact Epicor or similar ERP system is a plus

  • Good business understanding and ability to grasp company processes and routines

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multitasking and problem solving

  • Motivated to learn curious and engaged

  • Solid collaboration skills and a positive attitude

How youll thrive and create an impact

Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using multiple systems and tools ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements.

Manage the full order lifecycle from initiation to completion including order entry validation scheduling and follow-up.

Handle inbound communication (emails) related to order status and changes ensuring timely and clear responses.

Collect and manage certificates and other documentation required for shipments and send to warehouse and customer.

Coordinate with internal teams (Sales Supply Chain Warehouse Quality Engineering)

Monitor and update order progress in systems proactively communicating any delays or changes to customers and stakeholders.

Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all systems and documentation to prevent errors and maintain compliance.

Identify opportunities for process improvement within order management workflows and recommends solutions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
