Job Summary
ING Australias Wholesale Bank is seeking a Vice President Acquisition Finance to join our Portfolio Management team in Sydney.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of our growing Acquisition Finance Portfolio Management (AF PM) function an emerging capability within INGs Lending franchise across Australia and Singapore.
As a key member of the AF PM team you will play a pivotal role in the active management of Acquisition Finance assets across the Asia Pacific portfolio. Youll help optimise returns through strong analytics portfolio insights and capital velocity strategies. This is a frontoffice lending position ideal for a professional passionate about portfolio performance and credit excellence.
In this role you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including product and sectorbased origination teams specialised and corporate lending Transaction Management Capital Markets & Advisory (with a strong focus on Loan Distribution) as well as Risk Legal and various support teams.
AF PM also drives key initiatives to enhance regulatory readiness operational efficiency and overall portfolio optimisation giving you the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our regional finance platform.

What youll do
- As a Vice President you will manage the full lifecycle of Acquisition Finance transactions including credit reviews amendments and waivers riskrating oversight proactive covenant and performance monitoring earlywarning identification underperforming or restructuring situations and capitalvelocity initiatives such as loan sales insurance participations and risk transfers.
- Act as the first point of contact for a set of portfolio clients leading ongoing credit monitoring analytics internal risk reporting and other recurring portfolio responsibilities.
- Collaborate closely with product sector origination structuring and transactionmanagement teams as well as other product specialists to ensure a seamless and coordinated client experience.
- Identify and support crossbuy opportunities across the client portfolio.
- Drive process improvement standardisation and digitalisation across Lending working jointly with Tribe Lending and other key stakeholders
What were looking for
- 6 years of relevant lending execution and/or credit analysis preferably within Acquisition Finance or Leveraged Finance.
- Prior exposure to specialized lending (project finance object finance acquisition finance) and/or real asset subsectors (energy infrastructure transportation & logistics telecommunication and technology) a plus
- University degree major in business/economics law or relevant business discipline. CFA and/or MBA a plus
- Collaborative and inclusive team player embracing diversity and cross-cultural awareness and able to work effectively across functions
- Strong financial and credit analysis capabilities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
