Job Summary
The Education and Events Lead is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eatalys mission through events and educational programming. Reports to the Marketing Manager.
- Plans schedules and executes public and private events including: specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes group reservations buyouts press events tastings and private receptions
- Supervises staff members during events to ensure smooth execution
- Writes and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages online
- Fosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events
- Builds and manages client lists and relationships
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years of experience in restaurant operations sales management marketing or event planning
- Excellent organizational project management and time management skills
- Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Italian wine and gastronomy
- Proficiency in Italian language preferred
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings weekends and holidays
