Job Summary
The Oracle Lease Management Consultant is responsible for implementing configuring and supporting Oracle Lease Management modules within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements design solutions optimize lease lifecycle processes and ensure accurate financial accounting for leased assets and lease obligations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Functional Responsibilities
- Implement and support Oracle Lease Management modules (Lease Administration Property Manager Contracts Assets Payables Receivables).
- Configure lease creation amendments renewals terminations rent adjustments billing schedules and payment schedules.
- Support lease accounting processes compliant with ASC 842 / IFRS 16.
- Manage integrations between Lease Management and other Oracle modules such as:
- Oracle Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Property Manager (PN)
- Projects (if applicable)
- Perform gap analysis and create functional design documents (MD50s).
- Support data migration activities for leases assets schedules and financial balances.
- Manage month-end and year-end lease accounting activities.
- Ensure accurate calculation of right-of-use (ROU) assets lease liabilities interest accruals and amortization.
2. Technical Responsibilities (depending on role)
- Work with technical teams on extensions customizations interfaces and reports (MD70s/MD120s).
- Support custom workflows and Oracle BI/OTBI reporting requirements.
- Participate in system upgrades patches and regression testing cycles.
- Assist with integration via REST/SOAP APIs (for Fusion roles).
3. Business & Project Responsibilities
- Work with finance real estate asset management and procurement teams to streamline lease processes.
- Facilitate workshops UAT sessions training and documentation.
- Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting IT or a related field.
- 310 years experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Oracle Lease Management
- Oracle Property Manager (PN)
- Oracle Contracts
- Oracle Financials (AP AR GL FA)
- Strong understanding of lease accounting standards (ASC 842/IFRS 16).
- Experience drafting functional documents (BRD MD50).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with SQL for data validation (preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP/OCA) in Finance or SCM.
- Experience in industries like Real Estate Retail Manufacturing Telecom or Equipment Leasing.
- Experience with large-scale ERP implementations or upgrades.
- Knowledge of integration tools (OIC SOA API integrations).
