Job Summary

Description

We are inviting you to apply for an Admissions Coordinator position. We are looking for someone with experience in healthcare.

Under the direction of the Social Services Director you will assist in planning organizing implementing evaluating and directing the overall admissions operation for the facility. This position will be a member of the Social Services Department and work in accordance with current federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations and our established policies and procedures to assure that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met and maintained on an individual basis.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum one-year experience in processing admissions and/or insurance authorizations to coordinate resident placements
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Demonstrates exemplary interpersonal relationship and communication skills providing outstanding customer service.
  • Must be knowledgeable of administrative practices procedures and guidelines
