Job Summary

About the area
University IT is responsible for delivering secure reliable and scalable digital services that support the University of Western Australias teaching research and operational objectives. A robust well-governed integration capability is critical to enabling a modern connected digital ecosystem across enterprise platforms cloud services and third-party systems.
About the opportunity
- Accountable for leading managing and continuously improving UWAs enterprise integration capability establishing a sustainable platform-based integration model that supports both project delivery and long-term operational needs.
- Provide strategic and people leadership for the integration function ensuring services are reliable secure and scalable aligned with enterprise architecture governance frameworks and business priorities with a strong focus on service ownership capability maturity workforce development and cross functional collaboration.
- Partner closely with architects product owners project teams and operational stakeholders to prioritise demand define standards and patterns and deliver and support integration services as a core enterprise capability.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification in information technology or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction and operational leadership for integration platforms and services.
- Strong understanding of integration architectures security resilience and performance considerations across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Experience translating organisational strategy and business objectives into sustainable technology services and operating models.
- Sound knowledge of modern delivery and service management practices including Agile DevOps and ITIL aligned operations.
