Job Summary

Executive Officer in the Centre for Applied English Studies for the Communication-intensive Courses (CiC) initiative (Ref. 534371) (to commence on March 1 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totaling up to 10% of basic salary with the possibility to renewal subject to performance and funding). .

Applicants must possess a recognized Bachelors degree with at least three years of relevant administrative experience and an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. We seek a resourceful professional capable of independent operational management and digital innovation a self-motivated individual who demonstrates a high degree of independence and a willingness to master new technologies. IT proficiency is essential; specifically the candidate must be willing to learn how to useNotion for database management as well as WordPress and Canva for website maintenance and graphic design. A collaborative service-oriented attitude is required for effective liaison with diverse stakeholders.

The appointee will assume independent responsibility for the programmes operational lifecycle including course accreditation budget oversight and the strategic planning of major events such as symposia and addition to providing high-level secretarial support to key committees and coordinating student peer consultants the Executive Officer will lead external communications. This technical aspect of the role involves managing the official website designing publicity materials and building and maintaining databases.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
