Job Summary
Vactor is currently seeking an Intern in our Credit Department for the summer of 2026. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience while applying what you have learned in school. These internships typically run from May through August.
Position Requirements:
- College student preferably in junior or senior year of college pursuing a finance degree.
- Financial Statement Review
- Reviewing Credit Applications and verifying Bank & Trade References.
- Reviewing Credit Reports
- Setting up Customer Accounts (Pricing how they get their invoice verify information).
- Exemption Certificates and Resale Certificates (Vertex System)
- Introduction to Sales Tax (Rates and Amount to charge based upon delivery of equipment and exemption status)
- MSO (Titles)
- Insurance Certificates (Coverage Amounts Due Dates Additional Named Insured and Loss Payee)
- Customer Facing Duties (emails phone calls etc.)
- Navistar Audits
- Working as part of a Team
- Switchboard Coverage
