Commercial Insurance Senior Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Insurance Senior Account Manager to join a team at an independent insurance agency. This is a full-time in-office position requiring a dedicated professional with a proven track record in managing commercial lines accounts. The successful candidate will oversee a robust book of business supported by a full-time assistant and will play a key role in maintaining and growing client relationships.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $90000 - $100000 per year (commensurate with experience) End-of-Year Bonus Potential Commission and performance bonuses

Responsibilities
- Manage a generalist commercial lines book of business with a focus on transportation-heavy accounts.
- Handle daily account management tasks including adding vehicles locations endorsements and light certificate work.
- Review and check policies for accuracy and compliance.
- Quote new and renewal business as needed.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with a full-time assistant to ensure efficient and effective account management.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong background in commercial insurance account management.
- Proficiency in AMS360 software.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to follow directions and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proven track record of successfully managing a book of business ideally with accounts generating approximately $1 million in revenue.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
