QUALIFICATION
- EDUCATION:High School Diploma or equivalent
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist Special Education teacher in implementing the educational program for students in a juvenile home classroom
- Work cooperatively with AEA staff and parents for the benefit of the student
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students
- Act in the best interest of the student in handling situations that arise
- Assist Special Education teacher by reporting student progress and problems
- Perform work processing and clerical duties as assigned
- Attend staff meetings as needed
- Seek information and learning opportunities related to job
