Pay Rate: $75000 annual salary

The Opportunity Alliance is hiring a Residential Program Director with our Gordon Green adultresidentialprogram.

Gordon Green Residential Treatment Program with a capacity of eight residents provides trauma-informed treatment and support services to adults living with mental illness complicated by co-occurring chronic health conditions. At Gordon Green adults with behavioral health and medical issues find a safe and secure home. Gordon Green provides services that help our residents live to their fullest abilities and thrive. The program works to address the complex needs of the residents utilizing an integrated individualized resident-centered approach managed 24-hours-a-day by staff trained in trauma informed care mental health treatment crisis intervention and other best practices.

TheProgram Directoris amanagementposition of a clinical administrative and supervisory nature; responsible for overseeing operations and managing the full range of direct services program wide.

This position contributes to the accomplishment of the Agencys mission through the provision of:

  • supervising program staff and student interns
  • managing program milieu
  • working directly with clients
  • planning and directing the major activities of the program
  • performing administrative duties ensuing adequate occupancy budgeting and expense monitoring overseeing the collection of client one-to-one data
  • conducting on-going evaluation of and improvements in program activities.

This position is a great opportunity for an experienced Clinician to lead a residential program using a Trauma Informed Care and Harm Reduction Approach among other treatment Director position is administrative in nature requiring strong leadership skills working with the VP and adherence to DHHS Office of Behavioral Health contracts.

Work is performed reviewed and evaluated under the supervision of the Vice President of Residentials.

Schedule: Full-Time 40 Hour/Week salaried position

Location: South Portland ME

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work or a related field (a related field includes psychology sociology case management human development and child development)required.
  • LCSW or LCPCrequired. LADC licensure a plus.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a related mental health or substance abuse and co-occurring disorders environment preferred. At least one-year of supervisory experience required.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment required.
  • Flexible schedule is required.
  • Contracts that have Rider D: Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background child protective service check & sex offender check
  • Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
  • Must pass CNA registry check
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB screen.
  • Must be able to exert moderate physical effort with occasional standing walking reaching stooping bending kneeling crouching typing and frequently lift and carry small children or material weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings and for the occasional need to meet with clients offsite and within the program service area. This may include transportation of clientsordriving to agency location to complete work. A good driving record is required.
