Job Summary

At the NSW Department of Education we educate and inspire lifelong learners from early childhood through schooling to vocational education and training.

  • Ongoing Full-Time employment
  • Located in Parramatta offering flexible working arrangements with 2-3 days of mandatory office presence for business requirements
  • Salary ranges from $84659 to $ 92701 p.a. plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The Organisational Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring organisational structure position and employee data are accurate and up to date in SAP system. This role is critical in supporting HR workflows access permission reporting and payroll functions for staff across schools and corporate ensuring smooth and uninterrupted business operations.

You will also:

  • Provide expert advice and support related to organisational change including structure positions workflows and access.
  • Collaborate with teams across Shared Services and business units to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
  • Contribute to process improvement to help enhance service delivery and customer experience.

About you

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and a supportive team player who strive for team success. You also are:

  • Detailed-oriented and solutions focused to resolve complex organisational changes to meet business needs
  • An effective communicator and have excellent customer services skills to provide clear and timely support to stakeholders
  • Experience or have relevant experience using payroll SAP system is highly desirable but not essential
