Software Engineer (Studio Support)

The Role

As ourSoftware Engineeryou will help shape the future of interactive physical gaming and realize Nexs very bold vision: Create the best motion games for hundreds of millions of people to play addition to developing games in house we also work with external partners to create exciting contents and experiences on Nex Playground. Our support engineers help assist the whole content creation process ensuring games are delivered in high quality to our customers.

What Youll Do

• Support external studios in implementing games with our technology stack.
• Collaborate with our producer team to ensure smooth delivery of games and content in our pipeline.
• Involve in pre-production of new games including ideation prototyping and motion mechanics exploration.
• Identify bottlenecks and pain points for game developers including designers and engineers.
• Build tools or refine processes to streamline game development from ideation to deployment.

Must Have

• Hands-on experience with Unity.
• 35 years of software development experience.
• Experience maintaining software libraries and / or writing documentation.
• Experience with tooling and automation.

Should Have

• An obsession with code and product quality.
• A growth mindset always looking for more.
• Excitement about working in a high-growth fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience building and shipping products using Unity.
