About the role:

Our client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to support and develop aerospace manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aerospace fabrication and machining and thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed work instructions (MOTs) setup sheets and process plans
Design and validate machining processes for complex aerospace fabrications
Develop tooling solutions including fixtures work holding gauges and cutting tools
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction efforts
Analyze and resolve manufacturing and quality issues
Perform manufacturability reviews on technical drawings
Develop and maintain routers and related documentation

Qualifications:

35 years in aerospace fabrication welding forming machining and processing
2 years developing machining processes for complex assemblies
3 years working with brake presses CNC punching laser cutting hydroforming CNC lathes/mills and welding
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks required; Mastercam a plus)
Experience with complex aerospace materials and OEM requirements
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident)
