CAE one of the largest business aviation training facilities is looking for a Simulator Technician in our newest training center in Las Vegas this role you will perform preventative maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

Description

• Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.

• Assist in diagnosing and correcting routine problems on simulators and associated systems.

• Perform preflight and postflight tasks on designated simulators.

• Perform basic visual alignments.

• Run automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).

• Utilize the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities.

• Complete all designated training activities.

• Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.

• Learn and comply with CAEs quality management system.

• Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.

• Perform logistics duties including parts receipt repair and testing/validation.

• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain simulators as required.

• Perform required administrative tasks.

• Work primarily at the Las Vegas Training Facility in Nevada.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2year technical degree or equivalent related training.

• 1 year of simulatorrelated experience in one of the following:

  • Electronics/avionics

  • Automated systems

  • Computer networking repair and troubleshooting

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting prints and schematics.

• Knowledge of analog and digital theory.

• Basic skills in operating test equipment.

• Basic skills in soldering and circuit board repair.

• Some knowledge of PCs and MS Office tools and suite.

• Able to travel (less than 10%).
