The role
The Team in Goodyear Arizona is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician conducts machine setup troubleshooting repairs and preventive maintenance service. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
As a Maintenance Technician at IPL Schoeller you will:
Provide technical interface to Product Development for smooth efficient transfer of products and processes.
Machine repair to including electrical repair trouble shooting circuit boards pumps hydraulics pneumatics Material delivery system compressors and chillers as well as work on silos 50 plus feet high.
Record operational data such as pressure readings length of stroke feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventative maintenance records.
Comply with all pertinent OSHA standards.
Follow and understand acceptable quality control systems associated with parts and tooling.
Establish and maintain preventive maintenance procedures and records for all manufacturing equipment.
Provide technical support to manufacturing team for all manufacturing processes as well as all facility support.
Ability to read parts breakdown and machine electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Participate in production system and quality system efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement.
Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment as well as alterations on existing equipment and facilities -- making sure that manufacturing maintainability Health Safety & Environmental requirements are being met.
Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime of machines.
Keep up-to-date documentation related to maintenance.
What you will bring to the role:
Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Plastic Injection Molding in a Manufacturing environment. Experience with large precision molds and large tonnage machines.
