About the Job
This role is for an experienced dependable technician who can work independently and keep commercial kitchens and building equipment running. As a Mobile Commercial Kitchen & Building Equipment Technician youll service multiple sites respond to calls and handle repairs without hand-holding. When equipment goes down you know how to diagnose it and fix it.
What Youll Do
Repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment including grinders cubers saws slicers and related systems
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime
Handle minor plumbing and basic electrical repairs tied to equipment operation
Assist with HVAC/R tasks such as coil and evaporator cleaning when required
Replace lighting components and complete general facility repairs
Respond to service calls professionally and resolve issues efficiently
Perform basic locksmith work painting and equipment adjustments as needed
Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation
Follow safety procedures and maintain clean organized work areas
Document completed work and materials used
What You Need
High school diploma or GED
Class B UST Certification
Valid state drivers license
At least 1 year of hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment or building maintenance
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and work on ladders up to 30 feet
Ability to pass background drug/alcohol and motor vehicle screenings
Preferred
Trade or technical school experience
Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
Reliable service-focused and safety-minded
