This position is subject to Financial Management Certification. The Executive must be able to obtain the appropriate certification level for their position. This is a Financial Management (FM) Level 3 Certified accordance with Public Law 112-81 (National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012) and DoW Policy the incumbent shall comply with the requirements of DoW FM Certification program within the allotted timeframe.
DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE: The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has established a Drug-Free Federal Workplace Policy. All applicants tentatively selected for DLA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with DLA for a period of six months. This policy extends to random testing for the use of illegal drugs by employees who occupy testing designated positions defined as sensitive in Section 7(d) of Executive Order 12564. Mobility: Organizational and geographical mobility is essential in developing and managing SES leaders. Individuals selected for SES positions may be subject to reassignment across geographical organizational and functional lines and may be required to sign a Reassignment Rights and Obligation Agreement.
Tiering: The Department/Agency structures its SES positions into categories (i.e. tiers) to determine the pay range for each position. The categories are based on the position scope breadth functions and placement within the structure of organizational levels across the Department/Agency.
