CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Lead Mammo Technologist you will perform a variety of routine mammography related procedures by operating x-ray equipment on designated held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and position supports the mission vision and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

  • Capable of obtaining quality mammograms and radiographs using proper exposure markers and sheilding and knows how to use portable ex-ray machines and c-arms.
  • Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for procedure.
  • Able to perform all Mammography exams including localizations/stereotactic biopsies print images and perform CAD on digital images.
  • Quality control and assurance; including ACR accreditation MQS/FDA inspections and all required quality control tests.
  • Able to access PACS review studies and perform basic functions for image manipulations Resolve QA issues close studies as reviewed burn CDs transfer images and print from PACS.
  • Records all care information concisely accurately and completely in a timely manner in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology.

Preferred

  • 1-3 years Experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
