Cardiovascular Technologist (SEIU)Assists with cardiovascular and non-invasive studies or treatments. Performs M-Mode with calculations 2-D procedures with all necessary views and calculations and Doppler echo with analysis all information and data as required. Demonstrates ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients age-specific needs (i.e. Pediatric Echo or Geriatric Doppler Exam) and anticipate the needs of physician and provide awareness of potential patient problems. This position is represented by SEIU.

Day Shift 700 - 1930 M TH Fri; will be used to cover vacations as needed; Adult ECHO; ; Vascular Ultrasound; must have 2 years of experience; Prefer Pediatric experience as well. Call 2 days per week and every other and Work Experience:Two years experience as a cardiac ultrasound sonographer and/or completion of a one year certified cardiac ultrasound course: PreferredTwo years experience as a vascular sonographer and/or completed a certified vascular sonographer course: PreferredTwo years experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer and/or completed a certified pediatric sonography course: PreferredOne years experience as a Fetal ECHO sonographer and/or completed a certified Fetal ECHO sonography course: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasonographer (RDCS): RequiredRegistered Vascular Technologist (RVT): RequiredPediatric Echocardiography (PE): RequiredFetal Echocardiography (FE): PreferredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredRegistered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) Certification or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS): RequiredRegistered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI RVS): RequiredARDMS-PE or CCI-RCCS: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
