Ourmaintenance team is responsible for the upkeep and repair of district facilities including maintaining amechanical electrical and other general maintenanceareas in the district. This position will have specialized part time responsibilitieshandling the districts small water treatment plant.


Anindividualwho holds thispositionis requiredto:

  • General maintenanceduties as assigned by Director of Operations
  • General system operations of water treatment plant.
  • Perform various maintenance tasks such as minor electrical plumbing and facility repairs
  • Perform general labor inside and outside the physical plant including handling materials and supplies moving equipment and operating power-driven equipment
  • Drive district vehicles and equipment such as mowers
  • Assist with seasonal grounds work such as snow ice and leaf removal and lawn care
  • Maintain facilities in accordance with state and local safety and code requirements and
  • Replacing ceiling tiles light bulbs and ballasts.
  • Checking freezers boilers HVAC and water systems for proper operation.
  • Indoor and Outdoor work opportunities

Marginal functions

  • Assisting with athletic field set up/maintenance
  • Assisting with facility setups.
  • Mail delivery and bank deposits to all facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successfulperformance.
  • General maintenancebackground
  • Must hold a validDriver License
  • Hold water treatment and distributioncertification preferred not required.
  • Ability to use various hand and power tools on a regular basis to perform daily functions of the job.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to operate with attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain an orderly workspace.
  • Ability to relate to students staff and parents in a positivemanner
  • Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
  • Ability to follow written and oral communication
  • Ability to problem solve.

Shift:
Work Shift from 7:00a.m. until 3:30p.m. M-F

Summer hours are four 10 hour days from 7:00 until 5:00 M-Th

Starting Salary Range:

$19.00 - $21.40per hour depending on experience commensurate with water treatment and distribution certification
