Position Overview
TheProduction Worker III (Machine Operator)is responsible for operating monitoring and adjusting production equipment within a blow molding manufacturing environment. ThisProduction Worker III (Machine Operator)role requires strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and the ability to maintain production efficiency while meeting safety and quality standards.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum1 year of manufacturing experience
Strongmechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to operate and understandproduction machinery and control systems
Knowledge ofLock-Out/Tag-Out procedures (certification required)
Strongattention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work in afast-paced production environment
Strong communication teamwork and time management skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
TheProduction Worker III (Machine Operator)role includes:
Operate and monitor production equipment includingstarting/stopping machines and clearing jams
Adjust machine settings and performminor troubleshooting and process improvements
Record and trackmachine performance downtime and production data
Performprocess checks and inspectionsto ensure product quality
Replace materials and assist withcolor and material changes
Operateshredders and pelletizersto recycle scrap materials
Classify weigh and label processed scrap materials
Provide coverage for production lines duringbreaks and shift transitions
Performminor preventative maintenance(filters lubrication screen packs)
Assist withsorting and reworking non-conforming products
Maintain aclean organized workspace following 5S standards
Follow allsafety procedures and company policies
Preferred Experience
Experience inblow molding or plastic manufacturing environments
Forklift operation experience (preferred)
Experience withprocess control and production data tracking
Physical Requirements
Ability tostand walk and perform physical tasks for extended periods
Frequentlifting bending and material handling
Ability to work in amanufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment
