Job Title: Packaging Operator I (SAP Support)
Location: Norwood OH (Onsite)
Duration: Contract (March 2026 January 2027)
Pay Rate: $28$30/hr on W2
Schedule: 40 hours/week (MondayFriday)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Packaging Engineer / Packaging Operator I to support a critical SAP implementation project and ongoing packaging operations at the Norwood facility. This role focuses on packaging data management documentation accuracy and system support working closely with global teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level to early-career candidates with a background in packaging engineering or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP data migration and data import activities related to packaging materials
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of packaging material master data and specifications
- Assist in documentation compliance and data integrity across systems
- Provide operational support to the Global Packaging Materials Team
- Participate in packaging-related projects and data analysis
- Help ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards (including GMP where applicable)
- Contribute to process improvements and sustainable packaging initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Packaging Engineering Packaging Science or related field
- 1 years of experience in packaging engineering or similar role (fresh graduates may be considered)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Basic knowledge or exposure to SAP
- Strong attention to detail and data management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of dangerous goods packaging regulations
- Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environments
- Familiarity with data systems documentation and compliance processes
- Exposure to change control processes
- Interest or experience in sustainable packaging solutions
Work Environment
- Office-based role within a manufacturing/packaging facility
- Collaborative work with global teams
- Minimal to no travel required
