This National Guard position is for a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT) Position Description NumberTand is part of the 174TH ATKW National Guard.

As a RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT) GSyou will be the Group/Squadron/Flight Commanders point of contact to provide technical assistance to staff of the assigned military unit on matters primarily relating to support functions such as computer system support records and information management and for the assigned Group/Squadron/Flight. The location of this position is in an Air National Guard Group/Squadron/Flight.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Experience planning and carrying out projects to improve the efficiency and productivity of organizations and employees in administrative support activities. Experience identifying analyzing and making recommendations to resolve conventional problems and situations in workflow work distribution staffing performance appraisal organizational structure and/or administration. Experience identifying problems studying analyzing and making recommendations concerning the efficiency and productivity of administrative operations in different components of an organization.

Conducts travel to and from offsite worksite(s) from the normal work area to perform assigned duties. This may include Operating Locations (OL) and/or Geographically Separated Units (GSU). Due to distances involved travel may involve one or more overnight stays.
This position is designated as Essential Personnel and may be subject to duty in preparation for or in response to a state emergency or disaster declaration. This designation will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG.
Must be certified IAW DoD 8570.01-M Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 Clinger Cohen Act of 1996 and obtain Special Experience Identifier (SEI) 264 IAW current AF directives. Information Assurance - Technical Level II (IAT II) IAW current AF directives.
