As the USSF continues to grow and evolve we seek a highly motivated and talented individual to join our dynamic team as the Budget Lead of Operations Command-and-Control Acquisition Delta within the Battle Management Command Control & Communications Intelligence PEO. Be part of a groundbreaking organization shaping the future of space operations and national this role you will work directly for the Budget Chief with the opportunity to lead a team of 5 financial professionals with regular reporting to the Chief Finical Officer and other Senior Material Leaders. As the Budget Lead youll develop and monitor financial metrics and shape the financial strategy for a portfolio of unclassified and classified programs! Youll have the opportunity to implement change management streamline decision support and help program managers advocate for additional funding. With only 5 PEOs within Space System Command this is a rare leadership opportunity within the U.S. Space Force!
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or a related field (Masters degree preferred). In-depth knowledge of federal budgeting and financial regulations relating to Plan Program Budget and Execution (PPBE) process. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to include but not limited to TS/SCI work. The individual should have experience presenting financial data to senior leaders and experience synthesizing financial data to non-finance stakeholders. The candidate should have significant experience in Microsoft Office tools: Excel PowerPoint Teams and Word. Experience with Power BI and CCaR is considered a valuable plus.
