We are seeking a caring enthusiastic and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in St Albans starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during their early learning journey and enjoys working as part of a dedicated Early Years team.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years staff to support childrens learning development and wellbeing. You will assist with both structured activities and play-based learning helping children develop key skills such as communication social interaction and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Support childrens learning and development across the EYFS curriculum
Assist with the delivery of engaging play-based and structured activities
Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
Support childrens social emotional and behavioural development
Help create a safe nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Assist with observations assessments and learning journals
Promote positive behaviour routines and independence
Work collaboratively with teachers and Early Years staff
Support children during transitions playtimes and daily routines
Communicate effectively with parents and carers when required
Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
