Job Summary
Our client is seeking a reliable and technically confident IT Technician to join a well-established independent school in Farnborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing hands-on IT support in a professional school environment with high standards and well-maintained systems.
The role is well suited to an IT Technician who values good service clear communication and being a visible and trusted presence across the school.
The Role
Providing first-line IT support to staff and pupils
Troubleshooting hardware software and basic network issues
Supporting classroom technology interactive boards and AV equipment
Assisting with user account management devices and permissions
Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of IT systems
Responding to day-to-day IT queries in a timely and professional manner
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in an IT Technician or IT Support role
Good working knowledge of Windows systems and Microsoft 365
Experience supporting hardware software and end users
Clear communication skills and a helpful service-focused approach
Good organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
