[NDK] Product Developer, Boots Footwear

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Product Developer to joinour footwear team in Switzerland focusing on development and management of snowboard this role you will drive the creation of innovative and high-performance snowboard boot products from concept to market. You will develop test and refine designs to meet the evolving needs of snowboarders and uphold the high standards of the Nidecker Group.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about product development and innovation in sports equipment. Based in our Rolle office you will collaborate on multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentensuring that each snowboard boot meets the highest standards of durabilitycomfort and functionality.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise creativity and a commitment to quality helping to shape a product line that stands out in the snowsports industry. Youll play a critical role in delivering snowboard boots that align with the companys brand values and performance expectations.

Start Date: As of April 1st 2025

Tasks

• Work closely with the design team to ensure product development timingtesting merchandising compliance etc.
• Create detailed technical drawings specifications and communicate themwith factory.
• Build Tech Packs with color Materials graphics trims and any otherproduct details.
• Review samples and communicate to the factory the changes according tothe timeline with techs drawings review.
• Work with the marketing team to give direction on productcommunication.
• Daily communication with our development support office based in China.
• Manage data creation and modification according to the line plan.

This role is for an all year-round scope however there is significantlyhigher workload during the winter peak season for sales events.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years experience in footwear Development/Management or in a related field.
• Fluent in English (speaking & writing); French is an advantage.
• Personal Interest for Snowboarding Footwear or outdoor sports
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of snowboard boot.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and 3Dmodeling software (Catia Solidworks ProEngineer or similar) is an advantage
• Excellent time management skills to meet frequent deadlines.
• Knowledge in manufacturing process plastic injection and footwearmaterial
• Work on the creative process from ideation concept development toproduction tech-packs prototypes sample reviews final sign-off &Production follow-up.
• Critical thinking skills with ability to review samples in short period of timeand get feedback to factories according to the timeline.
• Ability to think creatively and analyze trend to improve upon existingproducts while keeping brand design identity.
• Ability to find new concept and source innovative materials integrating sustainability considerations and eco-durable solutions.
