JOB OVERVIEW
At Lavazza North America the Innovation and Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the portfolio and new product development for the Office Coffee Service (OCS) Channel for the US and Canada. This individual will oversee new products from inception to business case to progress monitoring throughout development to the building of selling stories and launch toolkit for the commercial strategy and sales teams. This individual will not only work directly with the Category Manager but also support the full marketing team in product and portfolio related communication needs. Additionally they will work across many departments to facilitate communication and deliver company objectives related to NPDs and portfolio.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess consumer and market trends for the OCS Channel and identify opportunities related to new product launches and related launch plans.
- Support OCS Innovation(portfolio)activities including business requirement definition business case development and on-going marketing project support
- Together with the Category Manager build selling stories related to new launches in North America and Canada supporting local sales team and distributors in negotiation with their customers.
- AnalyzeIoT machines data and glean insights about Lavazza/competitors/coffee segments trends toidentifytactical and strategicportfolioopportunities
- Help build the Flavia portfolio management strategy identifying new brand partnership opportunities and leading the execution of theinnovation process.
- Collaborate on defining the Flavia portfolio pricing strategy with theobjectiveof maximizing marginality and boosting assortment velocities.
- Build Assortment & Merchandising guidelines providing local commercial and sales teams with the base to determine assortment priorities and distribution targets
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Four year degree from an accredited instituion or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years experience in marketing coordination trade marketing/shopper marketing or category management/portfolio analyst experience
- Strong communication skills
- Strong proficiency in PPT Excel
- Self-starter able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to travel as needed up to 10% of time
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
