JOB DESCRIPTION:
Avantor is looking for Product Steward who can Implement tactical and operational product compliance goals to ensure the companys products meet regulatory standards and compliance certifications are obtained and maintained.
Leads product design reviews identifies and interprets applicable regulatory standards and requirements and provides guidance and training to prevent compliance issues from the initial product design throughout production and delivery of the final product.
Drives product labeling accuracy and consistency by standardizing compliance-related labeling (e.g. warnings certifications language requirements) across all product lines.
Implements new or updated compliance standards into product development workflows and design controls.
Tracks key metrics such as audit findings document closure rates submission timelines and regulatory response times to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure suppliers comply with domestic and international requirements. Communicate with internal and external parties including suppliers and regulatory bodies to provide information and support requiring explanation and engagement.
The Product Steward is responsible for ensuring that the organizations products are developed manufactured marketed and distributed in compliance with applicable global chemical environmental health and safety regulations.
This role serves as a key partner to R&D Regulatory Affairs Quality Operations and Commercial teams to assess product-related regulatory requirements and proactively manage risks across the product lifecycle.
The Product Steward will leverage SAP Product Compliance to maintain accurate product regulatory data classifications and documentation and to enable compliant sales and distribution globally.
