Job Summary
Summary
This announcement will be used to fill openings at any Business Operations Division Facility on Fort Bragg NC.
Incentives and Bonuses
- Incentives will not be paid.
- Sets up bars for operation obtains cash bank and stocks service bar.
- Assures an adequate stock level is maintained sets up storeroom and work area to permit easy access to stock items.
- Prepares a limited variety of simple alcoholic beverages as requested by patrons and wait staff.
- Records sales and makes change or prepares charge slips. Keeps bar and work area clean and sanitary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 para.2 to include a medical examination.
- Incumbent is required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
- Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Stands for prolonged periods.
- Work is primarily indoors. Exposed to cuts and bruises.
- Ability to work an irregular shift which may include nights weekends holidays and split-shifts.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Candidate must:
- Meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment.
- Be able to lift and carry weights up to 20 pounds.
- Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
- Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

- This job is open to candidates who is within the Local / Surrounding Commuting Area. NOTE: Local / Surrounding Commuting area is defines as within 50 miles of Fort. Bragg. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

- This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time regular part-time and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances cost of living (COLA) and differentials will not be paid.
