GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:The Compliance Officer/Title IX Coordinator assists TCA and the Academic Lead Team by serving as our primary coordinator for school compliance; by assisting with accreditation; by assisting with materials for staff training and by monitoring the overall compliance of nondiscrimination including Title IX for The Classical Academy. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP: The Compliance Officer/Title IX Coordinator reports to the Director of Academic Services. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Will work together with fellow Compliance Officer to coordinate and complete all compliance and legal as a primary editor and point of coordination for all school reports including site plans UIPs Absolutes and other mandatory accreditation reporting the External Review with ASD20 every three to four all necessary and appropriate training sessions to master the various data collection and reporting requirements of school compliance and accreditation including CDE Data Pipeline TCA at all ASD20 meetings and any required CDE meetings related to school compliance and carefully with all school principals and program directors to ensure timely collection and reporting of required school performance to the Director of Academic Services any compliance gaps or and publish a compliance calendar with critical deadlines and annual student fees proposals for the TCA Board of and updates Junior High High School and College Pathways Course Catalogs for public Director of Academic Services (DAS) with updates of DAS policies and annual staff training annual updates to the Parent-Student new federal and state legislation and assist staff with implementation of any new induction applications and renewals with the as manager investigator and consultant on all discrimination or harassment investigations as an officially trained Compliance Officer and Title IX Coordinator per federal law. Maintain appropriate in the development and implementation of the bullying non-discrimination and sexual harassment policies and procedures regarding and evaluate The Classical Academys nondiscrimination compliance efforts and make recommendations for any appropriate training for faculty counselors administrators and students to understand the nondiscrimination and Title IX updated information to TCA on nondiscrimination issues and update and disseminate information about nondiscrimination educational and publicize procedures providing prompt and equitable resolution of discrimination harassment and bullying required assist in filing grievances and oversee the step-by-step procedures to be sure that timeframes are records of all grievances a working knowledge of Title IX. Have a copy of Title IX readily available. Keep informed of current research and legal and judicial decisions related to Title IX and gender informed and knowledgeable about federal and state laws regulations and policies prohibiting discrimination of protected classes and assist whenever possible. This includes Title VI Title VII Title IX Section 504 ADEA and Title II of the program development in service training and updated resources to TCA on discrimination district and state conferences concerning Title IX discrimination and bullying issues.
