Summary:
-
Process verify route store order deliver and track supplies and materials per company and customer standards
-
Perform shipping receiving inspection and preparation of materials for storage or shipment
-
Read and interpret work orders part lists specifications and shipping/receiving documents
-
Document and maintain material requisitions picking instructions and inventory records
-
Apply basic mathematics to count add subtract and track inventory
-
Fabricate special containers for shipment as required by specifications
-
Operate company vehicles forklifts tow motors overhead cranes hoists side loaders and other GSE equipment
-
Operate computer terminals and barcode systems to manage inventory orders and tracking
-
Assemble parts kits hazardous material kits and tooling kits
-
Prepare materials for storage according to established procedures
-
Stock and issue a variety of parts and crib items including sealers and hazardous materials
-
Perform rough and non-angular cutting of materials primarily tubing
-
Ascend/descend ladders ride picker machinery to access high storage bins and store/retrieve parts
-
Verify materials received against documents and report discrepancies or damage
-
Conduct periodic inventory checks identify deterioration or damage and maintain proper records
-
Analyze production scheduling requirements and coordinate material availability
-
Identify and resolve material inventory and schedule problems to ensure quality standards schedules and budgets are met
-
Comply with health safety FOD tool control housekeeping inventory and facility regulations
-
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
-
Ability to obtain Top Secret (Not Required to Start)
-
High School diploma or GED required
-
Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance (Not required to start; dual citizenship or prior citizenship may affect eligibility)
-
2 3 years of experience with stockroom crib procedures or material handling
-
3 years of experience with computer-based inventory or warehouse management systems
-
1 year managing government property (acquisition receiving identification movement disposition contract closeout subcontractor control records utilization and physical inventory)
-
Competent with Microsoft Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint)
-
Ability to work rotating shifts
-
Lift up to 35 pounds regularly; occasional 2-person lift for weights over 50 lbs
-
Frequent walking standing balancing bending stooping squatting crawling and climbing ladders (3 12 ft)
-
Frequent overhead reaching (3 6 hours)
-
Ability to work in confined spaces and on elevated platforms
-
Use of PPE for face eyes ears hands and arms
-
Exposure to noise and occasional contact with metals
-
Pass visual acuity and color perception tests
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
