Our team designsdevelopsand manages long-term savings products forcustomers and playsa central rolein delivering Royal Londons ambition to be a Retirement Leader.

As part of the propositionfunctionyoullhelpdrive and deliverthe strategy behindour retirement proposition. This includes ensuring our productsand solutionsremaincompetitive compliant aligned to customer needs and consistent across life stages.

Youllwork closely with CustomerLifestageDirectorsdistribution marketingactuarial teams legal and risk partners and operational colleagues to make sure our propositions deliver great outcomes and offer genuine value for money.

About the role

• Drive the vision and priorities foryourpension and ISA squad ensuring changes are welldefined insightled and aligned to strategic outcomes.

• Lead and deliver product change initiatives using market intelligence and customer insight to shape effective compliant product solutions.

• Maintain deep technicalexpertisein relevant products supporting decisionmaking and ensuring product materials remainaccurateand fit for purpose.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve endtoend productjourneys and ensure propositions deliver strong customer and commercial outcomes.
• Act as a role model within the communitysharingexpertise guiding colleagues and championing best practice and governance.
• Proactivelyidentifyand manage risks ensuring governance expectations are met and decisions reflect customer business and regulatory needs.

About you

• Strongexpertisein relevant productsmarketsand processes with uptodate knowledge of competitor and industry trends.

• Solid understanding of the financial services regulatory environment and ability to think creatively when shaping product solutions.

• Commercial awareness with the ability to design innovative customerfocused propositions and influence strategic decisions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills able to build strong partnerships and explain complex ideas clearly.

• Able to work independently bring insight and creativity to problemsolving and challenge existing ways of working constructively.

• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills to support decisionsdocumentationand technical accuracy.

• Collaborative adaptable and proactive with the ability to guide and support colleagues at varying experience levels.
