About the Team:
Disclosure Content is responsible for the strategic development maintenance and delivery of CDPs disclosure framework (question bank reporting guidance and scoring). The disclosure framework provides environmental information to investors customers and other data users and drives companies actions to transition to a sustainable economy. The Content Excellence team is responsible for end-to-end delivery and maintenance of CDPs disclosure framework. The team provides environmental insights responds to internal technical queries and oversees the question bank publication. We work closely with other teams and functions across CDP to implement best practices and pioneer new areas of environmental disclosure.
About this role:
This role will lead a team provide technical scientific and analytical expertise to develop and ensure the high quality of CDPs disclosure framework. This includes questionnaires reporting guidance scoring methodologies and resulting data to drive corporate environmental disclosure and action. This role will be an environmental specialist providing insight across the disclosure framework.
What you will do:
Oversee the annual questionnaire authoring process
Lead teams to deliver projects related to the development of CDPs question bank content reporting guidance and scoring methodologies cross environmental disclosure. Including:
Providing thought leadership and direction to steer content development
Acting as quality assurance to ensure all question bank resources and supporting materials are created to an exceptionally high standard
Coordinate and collaborate with other teams in CDP for example to deliver: Internal review processes to ensure the evolution of CDPs corporate question bank and scoring methodologies.
Platform developments to improve question bank user experience and data quality.
Build and maintain technical external relationships with key stakeholders and represent CDP externally as an expert on environmental disclosure.
Provide subject matter expertise to projects and initiatives across CDPs broader activities.
Deliver presentations and facilitate workshops both internally and externally on CDPs question bank or scoring approach.
Plan implement and optimize processes related to the evolution and delivery of CDPs question bank or scoring approach.

A relevant academic qualification.
Considerable professional experience in a role related to environmental issues.
Technical expertise in environmental disclosure.
The ability to inspire and guide individuals and the team towards objectives.
Problem solving skills: the ability to think critically and make decisions on the work and challenges faced by the team.
People and team management experience including experience of resource planning and task
prioritization to optimize team performance.
Significant project management experience preferably in a role related to environmental disclosure.
Experience in strategic thinking and planning considering multiple factors and developing strategies to achieve goals or outcomes.
A demonstrable understanding of the global sustainability agenda and of environmental-related risk opportunities impacts and dependencies for companies.
Ability to design implement and refine operational processes to drive efficiency
A high standard of written English and the ability to present complex information in a simple and concise way.
Excellent research and analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
The ability to organize and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
A high level of motivation with a confident and collaborative working style.
The ability to work effectively and efficiently with team members of different technical and cultural backgrounds.
Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure.
