Responsible to:London Service Desk Manager
Based at:110 Fetter Lane London EC4A 1AY
Overview
Reporting to the London Service Desk Manager you will be part of the existing IT team that support the IT requirements of attorneys secretaries and business service staff on any aspect of IT.
This role would suit someone who is comfortable working in a busy corporate environment with a strong customer service focus a flexible can do attitude along with the desire and ability to learn quickly.
Duties and Responsibilities
Helpdesk support including resolving IT problems in a professional and efficient manner.
Finding workarounds to problems that cannot be resolved immediately. Should be prepared to visit users as well as using remote control tools to resolve issues.
Hardware support duties such as configuring new PCs setting up users and laptops configuring and issuing pool laptops keeping inventory of all hardware. Training available
Creating updating and resolving incidents in ticketing system Training available
Setting up video conferencing. Training available
Deliver clear troubleshooting steps in relation to Microsoft Office 365 Training available
Troubleshoot problems with legal Word and Excel documents Training available
Answer how to questions on all software used within the Firm Training available
Support of travelling lawyers over the telephone
Supporting mobile (iOS) users Training available
Brussels office support visits
Ad-hoc Weekend shifts to assist with office moves
Experience/Skills Required
Knowledge of as many of the following products as possible: excellent MS Office 365 iManage DeskSite.
Previous Helpdesk 1st/2nd line support with problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Previous experience of supporting MS Office preferably within a legal environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to work
A team player who is adaptable flexible and able to represent the IT team in a professional and pro-active manner.
Minimum 1 year Legal experience
Ability to work independently
