Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead local territory sales strategy aligned with company growth goals
- Identify priority markets accounts channels and projects to drive growth
- Direct and develop a sales team which may include Territory Sales Specification and Business Development roles
- Establish territory priorities quotas and performance expectations
- Build pipeline through major customers influencers and strategic projects
- Drive local sales and marketing efforts to improve market share and brand presence
- Evaluate market conditions and adjust strategy as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages employees within the Sales Department and is responsible for hiring training directing work evaluating performance resolving issues and supporting team success in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven success leading and creating sales growth across a territory region or market
- Experience building and executing territory or regional sales strategy
- Experience leading field sales teams and driving results through others
- Background in architectural hardware building products cabinetry kitchen and bath lighting or related channels preferred
- Strong ability to translate market opportunity into focused sales action
