To accomplish the duties of the position expected to have experience in developing curricula using a wide variety of instructional technologies including a familiarity with computer programming/graphics LMS applications graphic interface synchronous and asynchronous e-learning digital audiovisual strategies and production.
Required to direct a team of Instructional System Specialists and Audiovisual Production Specialists while working closely with subject matter experts technical service providers agency managers and others in selecting and adapting technology for use in training program development.
Work is done at the national level and directly impacts the health of the training life cycle of the Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
Ensures that technology applications support the needs of instructional applications and are analyzed and evaluated on an ongoing basis.
Independently develops or supervises the development of reports for agency executives managers and staff concerning the use of instructional technology in training program development.
Serves as a subject matter expert for the BOP on education and training applications.

Basic Requirements:
