Program Duration
Our internship program runs approximately 40 hours per week from June 1st through mid-August.
The Impact You Will Have
This internship position supports the direct sales staff and internal sales team in facilitating the sales process. The role involves interaction with various internal and external stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
Provide support to sales leads and Sales Advisors throughout the RFP/proposal process.
Assist in coordinating internal resources (Product underwriting RFP network marketing etc.) for the sales team.
Gain knowledge assisting brokers/consultants and prospects to facilitate data gathering RFP preparation and overall sales process.
Gain comprehensive knowledge of products and service options for clients.
Assist in content creation for Strategic Sales Consultants and sales leaders for internal and external presentations.
Assist in the creation and analysis of network financial information for sales leads.
Support the execution of broker and consultant strategic plans.
Aid the sales management team in achieving annual sales plans membership and financial targets and maintaining strong broker/consultant relations.
Requirements
To be considered for this internship candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
Must be enrolled in an educational program for the duration of the internship.
Completed at least one year (2 semesters or credits equivalent) by the start of the internship.
Undergraduate student currently enrolled as a junior or senior.
Relevant coursework or experience in sales marketing or related fields.
Application knowledge of Word Excel and PowerPoint OneNote
Ability to communicate to all levels within the organization.
Ability to gather categorize and prioritize information.
Professional demeanor positive attitude and a customer service orientation.
Willingness to take initiative and learn new concepts and technical skills
Ability to work in a hybrid environment including being on-site at least 2 days per week.

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position including skills ability and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
