Marketing and Outreach Officer Hayes Hillingdon
A forward-thinking and values-led organisation is seeking a Marketing and Outreach Officer to support marketing communications and outreach activity across digital and in-person channels.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative organised and proactive individual with practical marketing experience to take ownership of content support recruitment and engagement activity and help grow the organisations reach and profile.
The Role:
Create engaging on-brand marketing materials for digital and print use
Plan create and publish content across social media platforms particularly Instagram and TikTok to drive reach engagement and interest
Write clear engaging copy for social posts emails and promotional materials
Support and attend outreach events and activities including occasional early mornings or evenings
Work closely with colleagues to ensure marketing and outreach activity aligns with organisational values tone of voice and objectives
Essential Criteria:
Qualifications & Experience
Educated to Level 3 (A-levels or equivalent)
Practical experience in marketing communications digital content or outreach gained through education volunteering placements freelance work or personal projects
Skills & Knowledge
Confident using design software to produce high-quality marketing materials
Comfortable using social media platforms particularly Instagram and TikTok to promote an organisation and drive engagement
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and engaging copy
Confident verbal communicator comfortable engaging with young people families and external audiences
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Willingness to support events and outreach activity including occasional early mornings or evenings

Degree (or working towards one) in Marketing Communications Media Business or a related field
Experience working in education youth creative or community settings
Experience supporting recruitment outreach or growth campaigns
Skills & Knowledge
Experience planning or contributing to social media content calendars
Basic understanding of social media analytics including reach and engagement
Ability to capture and edit short-form video content
Familiarity with brand guidelines tone of voice and visual identity
Experience using email marketing tools or CRM systems
Personal Attributes
Confident representing an organisation externally
Strong eye for design presentation and detail
Ambitious and keen to progress within marketing outreach or communications
