He kōrero mō te tūranga The Role

In this position you will provide comprehensive support across the full employee lifecycle from drafting employment agreements and overseeing the onboarding process to providing first-level ER advice and overseeing offboarding processes. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate HR data and records by managing our HRIS and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice standards. Additionally you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support various HR projects.

You will bring a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle. Previous experience supporting external audits and reporting requirements. You will have a hands-on outcomes-focused approach and the ability to pivot quickly while balancing multiple priorities. Proactive and solutions-focused you will thrive on helping others and delivering a positive employee experience.

What you will need for this role:

Tertiary qualification in human resources or relevant field

2-3 years experience in a HR generalist role for a medium to large organisation

Working knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and best practice

Astute communication (written and verbal) and relationship-building skills

High attention to detail and comfortable managing multiple priorities

Proficiency with MS Office and exposure to HRIS

Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
