Job Summary

The Expansion Head is a pioneer role responsible for building and scaling BIBCs new business channels. The focus of the position includes worksite marketing SME development and affinity-based distribution supported by a clear sales quota.

The role blends business development partner activation field execution and team leadership. As the first dedicated Expansion Head the incumbent will create frameworks playbooks and standards that will shape the companys next growth engine.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Worksite Marketing & Channel Activation

  • Develop and execute worksite marketing programs for employee voluntary benefits SME clusters hospitals/clinics schools and professional associations.
  • Lead orientations enrollment drives benefit fairs and partner-facing sessions.
  • Create repeatable activation playbooks for employer-based and affinity-based channels.
  • Manage the full enrollment funnel from lead generation to issuance.

B. Sales & Revenue Delivery (Quota-Bearing Role)

  • Achieve annual sales and revenue targets for new channels.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts pipelines and performance dashboards.
  • Improve conversion rates through coaching and process improvement

C. SME & New Corporate Market Development

  • Develop BIBCs SME entry model including prospecting qualification and proposal standards.
  • Conduct client meetings needs assessments and presentations for SMEs.
  • Collaborate with insurers to create SME-friendly bundled offerings.
  • Establish structured onboarding and transition workflows to AOs once accounts stabilize.

D. Partnership Acquisition & Management

  • Identify and acquire new strategic partners including pet clinics hospitals associations schools and business parks.
  • Build and execute activation plans with clear KPIs and engagement models.

E. Pilot Execution & Scaling

  • Lead pilot programs for new channels or product types.
  • Document learnings and translate them into scalable standardized processes.
  • Track metrics such as activation rates enrollment outcomes and partner ROI.

F. Coordination Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all expansion activities comply with internal policies insurer requirements and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations Finance and AOs for smooth new business fulfillment.
  • Support premium hygiene and collection-related coordination for newly activated groups.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication presentation and sales execution skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple partners and internal stakeholders
  • Skilled in planning documentation and reporting
  • Preferably with experience in leading & managing team/s
  • Insurance/brokerage background with at least 5 years in business development partnerships or sales
  • Worksite marketing and SME/affinity or employer-based sales experience preferred
  • Existing HR SME or association relationships an advantage
  • Comfortable in a pioneer role with evolving processes
