Quality Lead

The Role
NetSuite ERP engineers do more than write code. We become specialists in our business domain and take the time to deeply understand our customers goals. We own the design of our product bringing questions and ideas to the table and analyzing them. We develop greenfield code for new engines as well as maintain a powerful legacy codebase.

So are you thinking about a new role Were looking for a Quality Lead to join our team in Prague Czech Republic. Our Shared Application Services team develops the core building blocks of Numbering Addresses GL Impact Tracking/Locking/Printing Entity Duplicate Detection and many more to allow customers to run their business smoothly and efficiently. While this may sound simple our customers needs vary widely and our code base is complex. The NetSuite solution is written in Java with Oracle DB as the main persistence layer. The UI uses internal JavaScript this role you will have plenty of opportunities and room to innovate become a better engineer and an engineering leader. We know its exciting!

This role is suited for a hands-on QA engineer with strong experience in quality assurance processes test automation and test plan creation and execution as well as mentoring other QA engineers. The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture view can bring structure to complexity and takes ownership of software quality while sharing knowledge with others. They are eager to learn and teach new technologies stay at the forefront of modern development practices and continuously improve efficiency across the team and department.

We encourage you to apply if you have most (or all!) of the following:
Computer Science degree or proven experience in STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math).
Enthusiastic about software quality and automated testing!
Experience with Java or any similar object-oriented programming language with the ability to write programs and apply OOP principles.
Intimate understanding of modern web applications and extensive experience with database-driven applications such as SQL and PL/SQL.
Confident in utilizing communication organizational and delegation skills - you need to be capable of working well with a diverse range of individuals with a diverse range of opinions while continuously delivering to the customer.
