Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Location: On-site in Tahlequah Oklahoma
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Pay Rate:$42.00/hr.
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts

• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Includes weekends and holidays as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an urgent night shiftopportunity. This role supports patients across the lifespan-from neonates to adults-in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate is clinically strong adaptable and comfortable managing high-acuity respiratory conditions while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to acutely ill patients ranging from neonates to adults
• Assess treat and monitor patients with a wide variety of respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Perform and manage ventilator support oxygen therapy aerosol treatments and airway management
• Respond to emergency situations including rapid responses and codes
• Accurately document assessments treatments and patient responses in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with physicians nurses and ancillary staff to support optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain strict adherence to hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide age-appropriate respiratory care based on developmental and clinical needs

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certification

• Active Oklahoma Respiratory Care License
• NBRC credential (RRT required)

Required Certifications

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• NRP

Experience

• Minimum of 6 months of respiratory therapy experience
• Pediatric experience required
• Experience caring for neonates through adult patients in an acute care setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Cerner EMR
• Prior experience in high-acuity or critical care environments
• Strong critical thinking time management and clinical decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Additional Details

• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Scrubs: Burgundy or white
• Charting System: Cerner
