Job Summary:
This role is for a Respiratory Neuro Diagnostics Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for providing respiratory care and neuro diagnostic services in an acute care hospital setting. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and the ability to work weekends and float between units.

Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care and neuro diagnostic services.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and assess patients respiratory status.
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Answer unit phone and directs calls accordingly.
- Perform data entry into electronic medical database systems.
- Coordinate equipment/supply needs. Notifies appropriate department of equipment malfunction.
- Perform any other related duties (e.g. clerical technical duties) as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- CRT or RRT certification
- PALS certification
- Active state license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Not specified
Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to work weekends.
- May exceed every other weekend to accommodate unit needs.
- Must be willing to float between like units.
- Requests for time off due to outside employment will not be considered.
- Facility is able to call off once per two week pay period
Scheduling:
- Schedule will include a minimum of every other weekend and may exceed this to meet unit needs.
