Job Title: Principal Consultant-Digital Advisory

Role description & Role accountabilities:

Description: As a Principal Consultant you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Global Excellence Centers (GEC) digital advisory discipline leadership by developing functional expertise leading diverse teams and driving data-driven decision-making processes. You will be recognized as a highly experienced professional within the organization proactively influencing project outcomes and fostering collaboration across global teams. Your expertise will enable you to lead the delivery of high-quality Digital EHS system integration solutions ensure alignment with organizational goals and support the growth and development of your team.

Project Management and Delivery:

• Lead and manage complex data analytics and automation projects including planning resource allocation and stakeholder management to achieve defined outcomes.
• Take ownership of overall project delivery quality ensuring alignment with organizational standards and client expectations.
• Oversee scheduling budgeting and resource management for multiple projects or project teams.
• Identify and mitigate safety-related risks by collaborating with internal and external teams.
• Capability Building and Leadership:
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members enabling their professional growth and fostering a collaborative and creative environment.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and arrange training to upskill team members ensuring readiness for emerging trends and technologies.
• Champion safe and sustainable design practices while driving process improvements across the organization.
• Act as a role model by adopting and promoting new technologies future trends and sustainable practices on projects.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

• Build and nurture strong relationships with regional contacts and project stakeholders ensuring effective communication and alignment of objectives.
• Proactively engage with cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and enhance project outcomes.
• Create and promote opportunities for knowledge sharing and innovation within the team and across the organization.
• Demonstrate flexibility in collaborating with teams across Global Business Areas (GBAs).

Strategic Initiatives and Innovation:

• Contribute to the formation and execution of strategic initiatives within the data analytics domain ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Drive the adoption of industry best practices and implement new digital approaches to enhance project outcomes.
• Innovate to ensure projects contribute to sustainable development and improved quality of life.
• Team and Performance Management:
• Conduct annual performance reviews objectively and fairly providing constructive feedback and recognizing achievements.
• Foster a psychologically safe environment where team members feel empowered to share ideas and best practices.
• Lead effective one-on-one meetings and team discussions to ensure alignment and address challenges proactively.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics or a related STEM field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in advance analytics AI integration and custom app development system Integration and data migration with a proven track record of leading project teams and managing complex projects.
• Extensive knowledge of advance data analytics and data management frameworks.
• Experience in designing solution architecture and development/delivery of digital advisory projects across global multiple sectors (e.g. infrastructure water energy and sustainability) is desirable.

Technical and Professional Skills:

• Proven ability to lead data-driven projects ensuring alignment with business objectives and

client needs.

• Expertise in designing and implementing advance analytics solutions with technology like Python Azure cloud service integrations AI services integration and automated data engineering solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management skills.
• Adept at problem-solving and decision-making with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
