Position Overview:

The Enterprise Infrastructure & Technology Platforms (EITP) organization provides the secure scalable technology foundation that powers McKessons business and supports clinicians patients and partners across the healthcare ecosystem. Within EITP the Project Delivery & Strategy Enablement (PDSE) team acts as a centralized functiondriving operational excellence and strategic initiatives that enable McKesson to achieve its technology objectives and fulfill our mission of advancing health outcomes for all.

The Sr. Business Operations Analyst leads EITPs resource and capacity planning operations and portfolio reporting governance enabling effective prioritization and transparent decision-making across EITP service categories. This role helps ensure demand is well-formed capacity is visible and outcomes are communicated consistently through standardized reporting and governance rhythms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EITPs Resource & Demand Management operations including intake readiness capacity planning workflows and governance reporting.

  • Support the end-to-end Resource Capacity Planning (RCP) cadence: intake preparation meeting coordination decision tracking and outcome communication.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs (Power BI or similar) improving visibility into demand capacity health and trends.

  • Establish and enforce portfolio reporting standards (templates definitions cadence and quality controls) across stakeholders.

  • Partner with service category leaders PMs and governance stakeholders to improve scope clarity demand signal quality and decision turnaround time.

  • Coach stakeholders and team members on reporting expectations process adherence and continuous improvement practices.

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • Typically has 7 years of relevant experience

Critical Skills

  • Experience in resource planning capacity management portfolio operations or PMO reporting.

  • Strong proficiency with Power BI (or comparable analytics/reporting tools); ability to build dashboards KPIs and data stories.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder partnership skills; ability to influence without authority and drive standard adoption.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data integrity.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience with Planview (or comparable portfolio management tooling) and Smartsheet-based intake/governance workflows.

  • Lean / process improvement experience (e.g. formal training or certification).

  • Experience working within a PMO / delivery governance organization.

Physical requirement

  • In office requirement as we are Flex and Connect with 2 days a week in office

Education

  • Bachelors degree OR equivalent experience.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKessons pay philosophy and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
