Job Summary
Shaker Recruitment Marketing is now accepting applications for our 2026summerinternship program. Our internship program provides hands-on learning mentorship and networking opportunities that will help you builda strong foundationfor your future career.
We areseekinga highly organizedCopywritingInternto join our team for 10 weeksin our Oak Park office. The intern will gain hands-on experience in variouscreativeareas including:
Shadowing the senior copywriters on their client work including assisting in campaign concepting and writing headlines/body copy across web sites social banners and more
Collaborate with other designers art directors creative director copywriters developers project managers clients and account teams.
Learn how employer brands are developed participate in brainstorming concepts and help develop creative assets.
This internship offers a valuable opportunity for professional growth and exposure to diverse aspects of Creative and copy operations.
Qualifications :
Availability to work 32 hours/week in our Oak Park office
Currentlyenrolled in a college or university program pursuinga Bachelors Degree in Marketing Advertising Creative Writing Journalism or related program
Strong communication organization and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common software applications
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent creative and technical writing editing and proofreading skills
Eagerness to learn grow and develop; open to taking on new challenges and embracing new ways of thinking.

Duration and Schedule
The Internship program runs from June1 to August6 2026. This is a full-time in-person opportunity. Interns are expected to workMonday - Thursdayfrom 8:45 am 4:45 pm CST in the Oak Park office.
