The Senior Commercial Manager Teamsport provides strategic leadership and oversees tactical execution to drive profitable sales growth and achieve sales targets in the professional sports and entertainment sectors. You will partner with leadership teams and functional leaders to develop sales strategies and initiatives that enable the business to deliver on annual operating plans and maximize brand visibility as well as to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide our teams in effectively selling Avery Dennisons value proposition to win in the market within the teamsports segment.
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders at customer accounts and assist teams with senior-level meetings.
- Regularly analyze sales data to identify opportunities areas for improvement and to drive efficiency across the sales team.
- Monitor competitor activity kit sponsorship trends and grassroots participation rates to identify new business opportunities.
- Manage P&L responsibilities including budgeting forecasting and achieving aggressive annual turnover targets
- Act as an influential subject matter expert to your team and other cross-functional leaders while serving on leadership teams.
- Develop and execute a multi-year commercial roadmap to increase market share within the teamsport segment.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience in strategic commercial leadership within the sports industry.
- Bachelors degree in Business Sports Management or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven ability to partner with functional leaders to develop sales strategies and quotas.
- Strong skills in forecasting revenues and conducting in-depth analysis of sales data.
- Demonstrated expertise in building relationships with C-level customer leaders.
- Deep understanding of market trends in the teamsports segment and industry needs to sell complex value propositions.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the EMEA region.
- Full professional fluency in Spanish and English is required. Proficiency in French Italian or Portuguese is a strong plus.
